Michael Collings bgt/Britains Got Talent 2011 Guitarist

 Britains Got Talent 2011 kicked off again at the weekend and once again and never to disappoint the first auditions are the best part of the show.

Many people audition for the show and many of the acts are hilarious but not for the right reasons of course and thats why so many people tune in to see the people who believe they have a talent but unfortunately its not what the British public want to see performing week in week out let alone the judges or the Queen.

But the show does throw up surprises and Saturdays show was no different.

When Michael Collings was being interviewed how many of us thought it was going to be a disaster. But have we not learned from Susan Boyle that when you least expect it an exceptional talent is spotted. Unfortunately many of judge a book by its cover as we have been conditioned slightly by TV and media that all talented pop stars are good looking with perfect bodies, but Michael Collings is just an average 19 year young man who comes across a little shy and somewhat sincere, but when he took the stage to give his rendition of Fast Car by Tracey Chapman's Michael Collings had the audience the judges and the people watching at home wowed by his performance. Its so great to find such a talent and thats why the show is so great because otherwise the Michael Collings of the world would otherwise pass us by.

And there is a lot to be said about someone playing a guitat and singing in front of friends and family but to sing in front of a big audience and have that performance broadcast to millions of viewers who loved the performance its a great boost for Michael and i wish him all the luck his new found fame will bring him he is a very talented guy and has a great career in front of him now regardless of whether or not he wins BGT.

But Needless to say Michael Collings is through to the next stage of Britains got talent 2011 and i am really looking foward to seeing him sing again, but if you cant wait then why not have a look at Saturdays performance on the video below and also a video of a backstage performance.
