77Which Car would you buy with your lottery winnings?
I recently posted the question about what car people would buy if they were fortunate enough to be the lucky winner of the lottery. Well the response to the question was very good and it gets people fantasizing about their dream cars so it only seems sensible i should create a hub dedicated to the subject.
Lets be honest the type of car you want to be the proud owner of is near the top of the wish list if you were lucky enough to scoop a big lottery win. Some people would be happy with one dream car, others would like a garage full of them and according to the answers i received before some people are just happy to keep their existing car pay it off and keep it on the road,well this hub is for the people who want extravagance, luxury and speed.
Some of us in our lifetime will only ever have 2nd hand cars and never experience being the first owner of a brand new vehicle and to be honest i am one of those.Today money is better spent on a good second hand car that is of a good spec and good working order that's a fraction of the original forecourt price.So if you was to find yourself in the position of being able to walk into a showroom where money is no object it really gets the juices flowing.
So i want to go through a top five list of the cars i believe would be under serious consideration i know people will agree or disagree and im sure you will comment if you feel ive got my top ten wrong!!!
Number 5 Audi R8 GT

The porshe would be in alot of peoples lists but this one is absolutely awesome and made it too my number 4

th1981 thanks for your comments and yes it is very hard to put these cars in any type of order and it was difficult to leave the Aston out of the top 5.Thanks for looking at my hub!!!
Not a problem it was a good read. As far as the Aston goes with the release of the new R8 spyder I think I would be torn between the DBS and the R8, the R8 is at least £50000 cheaper. The R8 is the better value for sure, but it does lack the class and superiority that comes with the aston.
How so common. So most commenting here have no background or real taste in cars other than the latest supercars. Only desire is to "front" by buying a Italian or German supercar, no real taste or understanding or what a collector or what older cars offer. No interest in real classics, no mention of Jaguar XK-E's, no talk of old BMW 3.0 CSi's. No talk of classic Pontiac GTO's or muscle cars of the 60's. Only the talk of "base" people that have a few $$ in there hands and no real depth of cars or their history in general. A real connoisseur of cars has some real diversity in their background and selection other than the typical 14 yr old boys wet dream of a car, but that is obviously not present here.

I would like another Subaru Forester or a Toyota Highlander, even though when I win the lottery I know I could afford something more expensive like a Lexus or somesuch - I just know I would love these cars and I'm not familiar with the really pricey cars. so what is your top ten? did I miss something?
